Our Instructors

Kathleen Haden (studio owner) has been part of the fitness world most of her adult life and is a master level instructor trained by Eve Gentry. She is also a master Pilates instructor trained by the Physical Mind Institute, Polestar, and Balanced Body University. Kathleen has a BS in Kinesiology and Bio-Mechanics/Dance, and a Masters in Business and Marketing. She is a personal trainer and Orthopedic Massage Therapist. She works in the field of Energy Medicine bringing balance to her clients on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Kathleen is innovative and creative in her clients' programming. She likes to keep up with the latest fitness trends while still using the traditional Pilates concepts. In working with private clients, she develops programs for improving clients imbalances while getting them stronger and healthier on all levels. She works with all types of injuries bringing the client to a point of no pain and a better quality of life. She is currently a master trainer for Balanced Body University, teaching and training instructors locally and all over the world. She is co-owner and director for Aqua Motion & Vibro-Accoustics, which is body work in warm water while medical music is played through underwater speakers creating the ultimate relaxing experience.

Dr. Lynn Canon holds a PH.D in clinical psychology and is licensed in the state of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has maintained a private practice since 1985 specializing in trauma-release work for adults and children, in both individual and group settings. Dr. Lyn understands the benefits of addressing spiritual issues during a healing session. She has two advanced degrees from Denver Theological Seminary and is trained in a variety of spiritual-energy healing techniques. She is also a skilled play therapist working with children. Recently she has been trained in Quantum Neurological Reset Therapy providing emotional and physical relief without drugs. It retrains the nervous system to optimize vitality and success. It relieves the body of years of stress, stopping energy leaks so that greater energy can be enjoyed. Jennifer Cisneros has been in the Pilates world for the last 12 years, managing the Judy White studio, then training and teaching in all facets of Pilates. She is the Pilates Plus office manager, teaches classes, and works with clients one-on-one. Her years of experience enable her to develop the best programs for her clients.

Bonnie Prestel discovered the practice of Pilates in 2000 and is a faithful practitioner and teacher of the Method. She received her first mat Pilates certificate in 2003. In 2009 she attended a rigorous training program at Peak Pilates in Boulder, Colorado, where she recieved her PPSI Pilates equipment certificate. Recently, she continued her training at Peak Pilates and completed her PPS level II training. Her style of teaching is considered classical and her experience includes teaching large classes to small duet and private sessions. She adapts her classes to meet the needs of the unconditioned person to the elite athlete. Bonnie believes in the teaching philosophy: "Change happens through movement and movement heals." She loves watching people connect with their bodies and rediscover the form, balance and vitality from their youth.

Allison Roebker began her Pilates practice in 2005 while recovering from a back injury. She soon developed a passion for the work and a desire to share its benefits with others. In 2006, Allison completed training with Pendleton Pilates in Cincinnati, Ohio, to teach mat and reformer classes. In 2007 she passed the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) exam and became a PMA certified teacher. In 2009 she participated in Alan Herdman's teacher training program in London and assisted during the Herdman workshops at the 2010 PMA Conference. Allison is also a Physical Therapist who is able to apply her knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology to the principles of Pilates allowing her to modify and develop exercise programs for clients of all ages and activity levels. She has an appreciation for the beauty, strength, and adaptability of the human body and feels Pilates is the perfect way to combine all of these elements together. Allison moved to Colorado in June 2010 and thrives on the people, climate, and lifestyle she finds in her new, adopted state.

Autumn Romano is a Registered Massage Therapist and certified Neuromuscular Theratpist. She received her certificate in 1997 and went on to pursue another certificate in 2009 as a Kettlebell trainer. Autumn beleives in an holistic approach to wellness and happiness. She beleives that overall wellness comes from the accumuliation of the little things that we do every day. Stress is the crippling acid that deteriorates the foundation of wellness. When the strength of one's essestial building blocks in undermined, one's health begins to unravel. The benefits of exercise are generally touted as strictly physical, but Autumn believes that the emotional and mental benefits are just as great.

Lisa Schohn is a Colorado State Registered Massage Therapist. She is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and is certified in nuero-muscular therapy. Lisa has been an American Massage Therapy Association member since 1997. She is also certified as a Pilates instructor through the Physical Mind Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lisa teaches group mat and equipment classes. Call the office to schedule a massage with Lisa to relieve your stress.
